BLOG ENRTY 1 "hype"

In the excerpt, "Hype" by Kalle Lasn, speaks about how advertisement has increased. Advertisement is very popular in the United States. From TV commercials, radio commercials, and even displays ads. One idea from the passage that i felt was very significant is the TV commercial have increased up to 200,000. This makes TV shows shorter than they use to be. I remember when i was at home with my brother and sister ans we was watching a movie on TV and we were so upset because every five minutes the movie was going on a commercial break. We did not want to change the channel because we never knew when the movie will be back on.

The TV commercial are all more than 3 minutes now and it takes up space from TV shows or movies to be played. Everywhere you turn, there is and advertisement going on. Its always telling you about the latest trend, what new movies will be shown and also how to join programs such as School and college degree. TV commercial always get the little one eye with the newest toys and junk food that is being advertised. For example, most people who know about job availability, trade school, GED programs and etc., are all different types of advertisement that help people to be able to continue to do things positive with the time and also make a better way of living.

12 billion display ads are also another way advertisements are being display and is everywhere. Buses, train stations, stadiums and even on commerical trucks are different places and things here ads are being displayed and help advertisements to be world known and seen and helps increase a mental pollutants. this is also another way that america corporate is filled in logo and product message.

To conclude this excerpt, Kalle Lasn has stated true facts due to how advertisement has increased and how it is popular throughout the United States. This America's view or way to show us how to be able to have information on the latest thing or programs out there in the world.
